Davide Zilioli

Davide Zilioli has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Davide began their career as the Co-Founder and CTO of Stria Communications in 1995. In 2001, they transitioned to become a self-employed consultant, specializing in eCommerce infrastructure and web/mobile app development. During this time, they assisted clients in defining roadmaps, selecting technologies, and leading full stack development teams.

In 2011, Davide co-founded Foliomob, where they built the foliomob website on Ruby on Rails. Davide then joined Medeo in 2012 as the VP of Infrastructure, where they played a pivotal role in building a secure doctor-patient video communications platform. Davide developed a private cloud hosted in two geographically redundant locations, implemented network security measures, and deployed various layers of the system including virtualization, databases, and systems management.

From 2015 to 2020, Davide served as the Director of Cloud Operations at BuildDirect Technologies. In this role, they led teams of engineers in delivering DevOps, Data Engineering, and IT services to the organization. Davide also oversaw software and technology spending while remaining hands-on in the DevOps and architecture domains.

Most recently, Davide joined Ziva Dynamics in 2020 as the VP of Infrastructure. In this role, they built the cloud and IT teams, migrated operations to AWS and terraform, and enabled remote work for the international team.

Throughout their career, Davide has demonstrated a strong expertise in infrastructure development, cloud operations, DevOps, and technology leadership.

Davide Zilioli started their education at C. M. Russel High School from 1983 to 1984. Davide then attended Liceo Scientifico Marconi from 1980 to 1985, where they obtained their Maturità Scientifica. After that, they went on to study at Politecnico di Milano from 1985 to 1988. However, the specific degree and field of study for this period are not provided. From 1988 to 1991, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Génie Industriel at Polytechnique Montréal. Finally, they completed their Master's degree in Génie Électrique et Informatique at Polytechnique Montréal from 1991 to 1995.
