We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented, and customer-focused Technical Sales Engineer with an entrepreneurial spirit that can help us achieve great success with new and existing customers. This is a role where you will combine your commercial drive with your passion for technology; one that will allow you to grow your own communication, business development, and technical skill-set inside an exciting scale-up environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As our first dedicated Technical Sales Engineer for Japan you will have the opportunity to travel widely, collaborate with our teams both in Korea, China and HQ, and work closely with our Japanese customers on exciting 3D machine vision projects. Solving customer problems, winning projects and achieving successful deployments is the ultimate goal. You will be a critical member of the commercial team and represent the customer's voice to help our Product team design the best products.
We are looking for someone with strong passion for technology and automation who are comfortable in both leading and supporting customer through their projects. A technical background (preferably machine vision or robotics), experience and passion for working with customers, and the ability to have impactful technical conversations with customers is necessary.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
B.Sc or M. Sc. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent
Experience with Machine Vision and/or Robotics
Demonstrable programming skills in C++ and/or .NET and/or Python and/or ROS
Excellent communication skills, structured, and solution-oriented
A self-driven team player with a strong passion for technology and world of automation and robotics
