Matthias Lenz

Matthias Lenz is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Zmarta, where they are responsible for driving the financial and strategic aspects of the business. Matthias leads the finance function across multiple countries and locations. Prior to joining Zmarta, Matthias worked at Mastercard as the Head of Finance for the Nordics & Baltics from 2016 to 2021. Matthias also has extensive experience with Nike, where they held several finance-related positions from 2008 to 2016, including the Young Athletes Category Finance Director for Europe. Before that, Matthias had internships at HSBC, PwC, Henkel, and Siemens, where they gained valuable experience in finance and accounting.

Matthias Lenz completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Corporate Finance and Strategic Management at Maastricht University from 2002-2005. Matthias then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Accounting and Corporate Finance at the same university from 2006-2008. In 2005, Matthias briefly studied Majeure Management des Institutions Culturelles at Audencia.
