Coleman Tharpe

Coleman Tharpe has a diverse work experience starting with being the Chief of Staff at Zzish since September 2020. Prior to that, they were the Founder-Director at DISCO from February 2015 to July 2019. Coleman also worked as a Communications Coordinator at The University of Texas at Austin from June 2013 to June 2015 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Harry Ransom Center for Humanities Research from September 2013 to May 2014. Additionally, Coleman was an Information Technology Intern at the Austin Film Festival from August 2012 to May 2013 and an Administrative Assistant at the Center for Transportation Research at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2012 to December 2012.

Coleman Tharpe has a strong education background in both anthropology and radio-television-film. Coleman attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2011 to 2015 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (High Honors) in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science (High Honors) in Radio-Television-Film. Prior to that, they completed the International Baccalaureate Organization Diploma Programme at Fairhope High School from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their traditional education, they also hold a PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner certification obtained from AXELOS Global Best Practice in January 2019.
