Tech Giants

Instacart has revealed that it has appointed long-time Facebook executive Carolyn Everson as its new President. Everson will officially take over from current President Nilam Ganenthiran, who will become a Strategic Advisor to the CEO on September 7, 2021. Source | Full Story

HubSpot announced that on September 7, Co-Founder and CEO Brian Halligan will step into the role of Executive Chairman and be replaced by Chief Customer Officer Yamini Rangan. She has previous experience leading the company as she stepped up to lead day-to-day operations at HubSpot while Halligan recovered from a snowmobiling accident earlier this year. Eventbrite has bolstered its leadership team by creating two new c-suite positions, Chief Communications Officer and Chief Customer Officer. The role as customer chief has been filled by Phil Silverstone, who is being promoted from SVP of Sales and Services. Twitch's COO, Sara Clemens, has announced that she will be leaving company in mid-January 2022. The entertainment and live-streaming platform has stated that it will begin the hunt for a new COO later this year. Source | Full Story

Palo Alto Networks announced today that it’s expanding its management team, promoting Amit Singh into the role of Chief Business Officer and BJ Jenkins into the role of President, effective immediately. Source | Full Story

Freshworks announced Monday that longtime company attorney Pam Sergeeff will be promoted to Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. Prior to her time at Freshworks, Sergeeff worked as EVP and Chief Compliance Officer at TiVo (now Xperi). Source | Full Story

Bright Machines has hired ex-Apple and Intel leader Michael Keogh as its new CFO ahead of plans to go public later this year through a de-SPAC transaction. Keogh joins the company from Stanley Black & Decker, where he was the President of STANLEY X. Source | Full Story

GoGuardian has named former Google education executive Cyrus Mistry as its new Chief Product Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Source | Full Story

Checkout.com hired Céline Dufetel as CFO. Céline had previously worked as CFO and COO at T. Rowe Price and was also a partner in McKinsey & Company’s Financial Services practice. Source

Explorium hired Sam Pugmire as CRO from VMware, Tim Marsh as VP of Alliances from Mulesoft and Ajay Khanna as CMO. Source

Yieldmo hired Melissa Gallo as SVP of Global Exchange Operations. Gallo joins Yieldmo from Walmart, where she ran revenue operations for Walmart Connect. Source

Carousell appointed Kevin Huang as Managing Director. Huang was previously the CEO of Birdie. Source

SparkCognition appointed Stephen Gold as CMO and promoted Vijay Doradla, currently the Chief Business Officer, to President, and Jeffrey Lass assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in addition to his Chief Financial Officer responsibilities. Source

Sisense hired Gilad Katz as SVP of Engineering. Most recently, Gilad led the R&D and Product teams at AppsFlyer. Source

ReliaQuest hired Brian Foster as Vice President of Product, Paul Kraus as Vice President of Engineering and Dan Wire as Vice President of Brand and Communications. Source

WekaIO hired Jonathan Martin as President. Martin previously served as Global CMO at Hitachi Vantara. Source

Emerging Companies

Credly, a digital credentialing platform, has appointed Donna Koppensteiner as its Chief Revenue Officer and hired Bailey Showalter as VP of Talent Solutions. Prior to joining the fast-growing startup, Koppensteiner was the Chief Revenue Officer at Interviewstream and held senior leadership roles at workforce mobility company Motus, Bretford, and Rand McNally. Ketch, data privacy and governance platform, has announced three new additions to its executive team after emerging from stealth earlier this year. The startup has selected legal expert Alysa Hutnik as Chief Privacy and Data Security Advisor, sales guru Jim Wangler as Head of Revenue, and Salesforce veteran Michele Davolos as Head of Product Marketing. Gorillas appointed Deena Fox as Global Chief People Officer. Fox has formerly worked as an HR Executive of Amazon, Hugo Boss, Jet, and Oscar Health. Source

Planet DDS hired Shawn Edwards as CFO. Source
