Workplace Tech

UKG, a provider of HR, payroll, and workforce management solutions, announced that Chris Todd, President of UKG, has been appointed CEO, effective July 1, 2022.

Drift, a conversational marketing platform, announced that its CEO, David Cancel, will transition to become its Executive Chairman. Scott Ernst, the former Global CEO of Macromil, will take Cancel’s spot as CEO.

Zoom, a video conferencing technology company, announced that Matthew Saxon will join the company as its Chief People Officer. Saxon was most recently the VP of People Operations at Meta.

Zoom, a video conferencing technology company, named Greg Tomb, a former sales leader at Google, as its new President.

Nativo, a content technology platform for advertisers and publishers, appointed Raquel Cadourcy as its first Chief Marketing Officer. Cadourcy joins Nativo from Modern Luxury Media, where she was CMO.

JumpCloud, an enterprise software company, hired former knock CFO as Michelle DeBella as its finance chief.

Fintech

Paradigm, a crypto VC giant, selected Brex executive Katie Biber as its new Chief Legal Officer.

Boosted.ai, a distributed machine learning platform for investment professionals, hired Jennifer Pavlik as CFO.

Insurtech

Ventiv Technology, a provider of advanced analytics for risk, claims and underwriting solutions, hired Mark Tainton as its new Global Head of Advanced Analytics. He was previously the Global Head of Business Intelligence and Management Information with Aon Risk Services.

Health Tech

Peloton, a fitness technology company, appointed Liz Coddington, the former VP of Finance at AWS, as its CFO.

SmileDirectClub, a medtech platform for teeth straightening, appointed interim CFOTroy Crawford as its CFO.

eVisit, an enterprise care delivery platform built for modern health systems and hospitals, named Sachin Agrawal as President. Most recently, he served as President of Strategy and Corporate Development at RLDatix.

Flatiron Health, a healthtech company dedicated to helping cancer centers, appointed Javier Jimenez as Chief Medical Officer, effective June 1, 2022. Prior to Flatiron, Dr. Jimenez served as EVP of Real World Evidence and Late Phase at Syneos Health.

E-Commerce

Amazon, the e-commerce titan, revealed that David Clark, the CEO of its consumer organization, will depart at the end of the month. The company hasn’t named his replacement.

The RealReal, an online and brick-and-mortar marketplace for authenticated luxury consignment, revealed that its Chairperson and CEO, Julie Wainwright, has stepped down effective immediately. The company has appointed President and COO Rati Sahi Levesque and CFO Robert Julian as Co-Interim CEOs.

Lazada, an e-commerce company, has named former McKinsey & Co leader James Dong as its new Group CEO responsible for its push into Europe.

Transportation Tech

Beep, a provider of multi-passenger, autonomous electric mobility solutions, today announced the appointment of Simon West as the company's first Chief Experience Officer. West previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Magnitude Software.

Lilium, a developer of an all-electric vertical take-off and landing jet, named Klaus Roewe as CEO, effective August 1. Roewe is a long-time Airbus executive. Daniel Wiegand, Lilium co-founder and the current CEO, will continue as Lilium’s Chief Engineer for Innovation and Future Programs.

Gojek, an Indonesian ride-hailing behemoth and super app, revealed that its co-founder and CEO Kevin Aluwi will step into a non-executive role after the company’s merger to create the GoTo Group is complete.

Logistics Tech

Choco, a digital platform connecting restaurants and their suppliers to optimize the food supply chain, selected Kevin Huang as its COO and Henri Buchsteiner as its CFO. Huang was previously a VP at DoorDash and Buchsteiner was a founding member and executive director of Morgan Stanley's flexible private equity fund.

Cybersecurity

Microsoft has named Michal Braverman-Blumenstyk as the CTO for its Security, Compliance, Identity, and Management Division. Braverman-Blumenstyk will retain her current role as GM of Microsoft’s Israel R&D Center.

Illumio, a Zero Trust Segmentation company, appointed Gary Barlet as Federal Field CTO. Prior to joining Illumio, Barlet served as the Chief Information Officer at the Office of the Inspector General for the U.S. Postal Service.

IT

Logicalis, an international IT solution and managed services provider, appointed Mohammed Ibrahim as its new VP of Managed Services. Ibrahim joins Logicalis with more than two decades of experience in networking and security, as well as hybrid cloud and enterprise solution design.

Redica Systems, a data and software company, has hired Larry Coble as Chief Revenue Officer.

Tellius, an AI-driven decision intelligence platform, promoted Hardik Chheda from Head of Product to Chief Product Officer.

LiveAction, an IT network performance management, visualization and analytics software company, appointed Francine Geist as CEO. Geist has served as LiveAction’s CFO since 2019.

Internet

Meta promoted Guy Rosen from VP of Integrity to Chief Information Security Officer.

Outbrain, a leading recommendation platform for the open web, announced that Jason Kiviat, Outbrain’s VP of FP&A and Investor Relations, has been appointed as CFO, effective July 1.

Connectivity

Verizon named Sowmyanarayan Sampath as EVP and CEO of Verizon Business, effective July 1, 2022. Sampath joined Verizon in 2014 and currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer for Verizon Business.

Proptech

Reef, a ghost kitchen and flexible space startup, has terminated President of Kitchens Michael Beacham, effective June 12.

Ad Tech

Billups, an out-of-home (OOH) technology and managed services company hired Michael Palatnek as Chief Revenue Officer. Palatnek was previously the CEO at C2C Outdoor.
