Eusebio Rufian-Zilbermann

Eusebio Rufian-Zilbermann has over 30 years of work experience in software development and engineering.

Eusebio started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad Pontificia Comillas, where they lectured in the Electrical Measurements Lab and supervised lab operations.

Eusebio then worked as a Software Engineer at Ceselsa before joining Aries I.N. Electronica as a Project Engineer, where they focused on design and development work in Control Systems and Data Acquisition projects. Eusebio also worked on SCADA systems for Power Utility companies during their contract work at WESTINGHOUSE SYSTEMS LTD.

Eusebio then joined CA as a Programmer, where they worked on software development, internationalization, and localization engineering. Eusebio was a core team member in the release of several versions of eTrust Antivirus, InoculateIT, and InocuLAN Enterprise virus protection products.

Eusebio then joined Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer, where they developed software in the area of Security and Server Protection. Eusebio significantly contributed to multiple products in the server protection family, including EOP for Office 365 and Forefront Security for Exchange and SharePoint.

Currently, Eusebio works at 1010data as a Senior Software Development Engineer. Eusebio is responsible for designing and developing software for Computational and Statistical Analysis (Big Data) Data Center Systems. Their notable projects include designing and developing systems for high availability and disaster recovery, data backup and mirroring, and single sign-on solutions.

Eusebio Rufian-Zilbermann completed their education at Comillas Pontifical University from 1984 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Electrical and Electronics. Their field of study focused on Industrial Engineering.
