Steven Gargano, CPA, has over 20 years of work experience in the finance industry. Steven'smost recent role is Chief Financial Officer at CreditRiskMonitor, where they are responsible for the administrative, financial, risk management, and human resource functions of the organization. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director - Head of Financial Information & Risk Analysis at 1199 National Benefit Fund, where they oversaw performance reporting, financial information, and risk analysis. Steven Gargano, CPA, holds a PLD degree in Management Strategy and Leadership from Harvard Business School, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Steven also holds a BS degree in Accounting Economics Business Admin from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and Cornell University, which they earned from 1996 to 1998. In addition to their academic achievements, Steven is a Certified Scrum Product Owner, obtained from the Scrum Alliance in 2017, and a Certified Public Accountant, licensed by the State of New York in 2001.
