Joseph Guth

Joseph Guth has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Joseph started their career as a Summer Intern at Fleet Street Publications in 2006, where they provided research and wrote articles for the company's publications. In 2007, they joined PwC as an Associate in their Assurance Graduate Scheme, working on year-end audits and auditing IT systems. Joseph also used their Excel skills to improve the Finance team's models.

In 2008, Joseph joined the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as a Management Accountant through their Graduate Scheme, gaining experience in various finance departments. Joseph worked there for three years before joining Marks and Spencer as a Finance Analyst on a six-month secondment.

Joseph returned to the FCA in 2012 as a Senior Management Accountant, where they managed Finance's relationship with the CIO and their Senior Leadership Team. Joseph stayed in this role for three years before joining 1E in 2015. At 1E, they started as a Commercial Finance Business Partner, responsible for financial planning, Tableau reporting, and customer risk metrics. Joseph later became the Director of Sales Operations and Commercial Finance before assuming their current role as the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Joseph Guth completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School in the years 2004 to 2007. Joseph also obtained a certification as a Chartered Management Accountant from CIMA in 2011.
