Joseph Spota

Joseph Spota has a diverse work experience. Joseph started their career in 2021 as a Senior Scientist and Science Associate at 2NDNATURE. From 2019-2021, they worked at American Conservation Experience as a Logistics Coordinator and Corp Member. In 2019, they worked as a Server at RINCON BREWERY INC and as a Ventura Botanical Garden / GIS Field Tech Volunteer at Ventura Botanical Garden. In 2018, they worked as a Server & Bartender at Little Creatures Brewery. From 2016-2019, they worked as a Photographer & Videographer at J2Pmedia, Event Staff/Administrative Assistant/Photographer and Photographer/Administrative Assistant at Adventure Sports Journal, and Environmental Educator at Global Student Embassy. In 2016, they completed a Senior Seminar/GIS Senior Thesis at University of California, Santa Cruz. In 2015, they took a GIS Senior Seminar at UC Santa Cruz.

Joseph Spota obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies with a field of study in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture, as well as Geographic Information Systems, from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2016. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Backcountry Food Handlers from Cocino County Public Health Services in November 2019, Blood Borne Pathogens from the National Safety Council in September 2019, Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid from SIERRA RESCUE INCORPORATED in September 2019, and American Conservation Experience - SUV/Truck/Van Trained from American Conservation Experience.
