Marie Haaland has a diverse work experience with various companies. Marie started their career as a Presidential Debate Intern at Newsday Media Group in 2016. Marie then worked as a Copy Editor and Writer at The Hofstra Chronicle from February 2016 to September 2016, and later served as the Copy Chief from October 2016 to May 2018. In 2017, Marie worked as a Reporter at Mukilteo Beacon for a brief period from July 2017 to September 2017. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Conference Support Assistant at Event Producers (formerly MRA Services). Marie joined 72Point Inc in September 2017 as an Editorial Intern and later took on roles such as Creative Account Manager from May 2018 to November 2019, Senior Creative from November 2019 to July 2021, and currently serves as the Head of Editorial since July 2021.
During the period of 2014 to 2018, Marie Haaland pursued their higher education at Hofstra University. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on Journalism and Political Science.
