Mary Lear

Mary Lear has over 20 years of experience in HR and leadership roles. Mary started their career at Alcoa as an HR Manager and Lean Manufacturing Manager, where they implemented programs to improve recruiting, employee relations, and manufacturing. Mary then worked at Golden Aluminum Extrusion as an HR & Lean Director, managing benefits, compensation, HRIS systems, and payroll processes. Mary later joined Becton Dickinson as an HR Manager, where they oversaw HR resources at a FDA regulated manufacturing facility. Currently, they are working at A. O. Smith as the Director of Human Resources, leading HR teams and partnering with business leaders to drive business initiatives. Mary also served as the Transformation and Learning Director, responsible for the transformation and change management aspects of a global ERP implementation. Overall, Mary has a strong background in HR leadership and has successfully supported organizational change and development.

Mary Lear has a Bachelor's degree from Ohio University. Mary also holds additional certifications including Certified PROFILOR 360 Coach from PDI Ninth House, Qualified DiSC Practitioner from PeopleKeys Inc, and Qualified MBTI Practitioner from the Center for Applied Psychological Type. Mary is also certified with SCP from SHRM, SPHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI, and has a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
