Julyun (Julie) Oh

Julyun (Julie) Oh has a diverse work experience in the field of molecular and cell biology. Julyun (Julie) started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Cornell University's Molecular and Cell Biology Department, where they conducted research on the molecular mechanism of RNA editing in plant mitochondria. During their time there, they developed a novel and high-throughput system to measure RNA editing, which resulted in a publication in PLOS genetics.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Julie joined Columbia University in the City of New York as a Ph.D Candidate. Julyun (Julie)'sresearch focused on DNA repair mechanisms using molecular and genetic methods. Julyun (Julie) designed and executed assays to monitor DNA recombination processes and characterized the nuclease activity of a protein involved in DNA repair in vitro biochemically.
