Devin Hearns has over 20 years of work experience in various leadership roles. Devin has demonstrated superior leadership ability at AARP Foundation as the National Director, overseeing operations across multiple office locations and leading a large workforce. Devin also served as the Assistant National Director at AARP Foundation. Prior to their role at AARP, Devin worked as the Director at Goodwill Industries International, where they efficiently managed daily operations and optimized cost efficiency. Devin also has experience as the Director at U.S. VETS, where they managed multiple projects and ensured compliance with standards. Earlier in their career, Devin held the position of Clinical Supervisor/Program Manager at Wolverine Human Services, where they oversaw the daily operations of residential facilities and managed clinical staff. Devin also worked as a Prisoner Reentry Program Parole Officer at the Michigan Department of Corrections and as a Youth Program Specialist at Kent County. Devin holds an MPA and PMP certification.

Devin Hearns MPA, PMP has a strong educational background. Devin obtained their Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from Central Michigan University from the years 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Social Science from Grand Valley State University from 1996 to 2001. In addition to their degrees, Devin has also obtained several certifications including being a Certified Workforce Development Professional from the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP), a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) from the Center For Credentialing & Education, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
