Renee Sobieraj

Renee Sobieraj is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in project management and business relationship management within the pharmaceuticals and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Director of IT at AbbVie since September 2018, Renee leads the global Project Management Office to support R&D initiatives and previously held the position of Associate Director of Business Relationship Management, fostering collaboration between IT and R&D departments. Prior experience includes managerial roles at Exelon, where Renee directed IT strategic alliances and global renewables programs, and a series of positions at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois and Zurich North America, focused on financial and procurement systems management. Renee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University.
