Abound Health is a North Carolina Statewide agency that provides a comprehensive array of supports and services to children and adults of all ages, with all types of intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Abound was created out of necessity more than 20 years ago when founders Janet and Rusty Presson grew tired of searching for quality services for their young son diagnosed with Autism. They decided to enter the marketplace themselves and thus A Small Miracle born. Much as has changed in that time, but just as importantly, many things have not. Abound remains a place that individuals and families with special needs turn to for high impact services and supports delivered in a nurturing and environment.

Since becoming an Aymira company in 2015, Abound Health has also been leading the way in the convergence of EHR technology and specialty care services. Our agency today is largely paperless, and completely data driven. We are embracing the industry’s move towards national initiatives like EVV, HIE, and Value Based Payments.

This team oversees the implementation of high-impact services, supports, and technology integration, while also steering the organization towards national healthcare initiatives and compliance. Composed of the President, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and several other key executives, they collectively work to maintain Abound Health's mission to provide comprehensive care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout North Carolina.

Led by the Chief Technology Officer, this team ensures that the agency's services are seamlessly integrated with national initiatives such as EVV, HIE, and Value-Based Payments. They focus on creating data-driven, paperless environments to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
