Boosee Cat has worked in the operations field since 2006. Their career began at Huawei as an Operations Assistant and Operations Intern. They then moved on to Tarte Cosmetics, where they held the roles of Production Assistant twice. In 2013, Boosee Cat became an Operations Department Specialist at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. Following this, they worked as an Associate Manager of Operations and Operations Manager at Too Faced Cosmetics from 2014 to 2016. Boosee Cat then worked as Associate Director of Operations at ILIA Beauty in 2017, before becoming Director of Operations at Kosas in 2019. Most recently, Boosee Cat has taken on the role of Co-Founder at about-face beauty in 2021.

Boosee Cat obtained a Bachelor of Economics from Central South University between 2002 and 2006, followed by a Master of Professional Studies from the Fashion Institute of Technology between 2008 and 2010. Finally, Boosee Cat completed a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School between 2011 and 2013.
