Clara Sloan

Clara Sloan has held a range of positions in the tech industry since 2008. Clara began their career as a Jr. Administrative Assistant at Arbor Insurance. In 2012, they took on a Tutor role at Mathnasium. Clara then moved on to Merit Network in 2013 as an Intern. In 2015, they worked as a CS Contractor at Khan Academy and a Software Development Intern at Atomic Object. Finally, they joined Academia.edu in 2016, where they have held the positions of Associate Director of Engineering and Senior Software Engineer.

Clara Sloan attended the University of Michigan from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) degree in Computer Science.
