Ben Brandon

Ben Brandon has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. Ben began their career at Dumas Boats as a Machine Shop Worker in May 2011 and worked until August 2013. After that, they joined Peter Piper Pizza as a General Crew member from May 2011 to December 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Tutor at Calvin College from February to May, and then as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern at Raytheon from June to August. Ben joined The Kraft Heinz Company in June 2017 as an Operations Management Trainee and later became a Continuous Improvement Supervisor from December 2017 to April 2019. Ben then transitioned to a Product Development Scientist role from April 2019 to May 2021 and finally served as a Senior Scientist – Product Development from May 2021 to March 2022. Currently, they are working at Accelerate Diagnostics, starting in March 2022 as a Senior Research Associate and, later, promoted to the Reagent Lab Team Lead position in August 2022.

Ben Brandon earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from Calvin University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including Critical Thinking, Decision-Making Strategies, Delegating Tasks, The Breakthrough Communicator Online, Unconscious Bias, Business Development Foundations, Communicating with Confidence, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
