Davide Scano has a diverse range of work experience. Davide began their career as a Volunteer Staff at Lucca Comics & Games from 2009 to 2013. From 2014 to 2019, they worked as a Collaborator at Lucca Crea Srl. In 2020, they joined Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna as an International PhD Student in Emerging Digital Technologies. In this role, they provided new workflows and applications for controlling coherent transceivers in packet/optic networks and developed P4 programs for telemetry and new protocols. Davide also developed SDN applications and drivers for controlling programmable devices and disaggregated optical devices. Additionally, Davide served as a Visiting Researcher at Accelleran from 2023, although details about their role are not provided.

Davide Scano completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science & Networking from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Università di Pisa. Davide also holds a degree as a Perito Informatico in Informatica from ITIS Fermi.
