Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in a close-knit team to develop, test, and maintain robust codebases for AI solutions with a focus in NLP and LLM applications.

• Engage in system design and architectural decisions to ensure modularity, reusability and maintainability.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of AI algorithms: Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to implement and optimize machine learning algorithms in Python, ensuring their accuracy, efficiency, and scalability for various applications in natural language processing and long-term memory tasks.

• Optimize performance and scalability: Identify bottlenecks and performance issues in existing code, and work on optimizing algorithms and data processing pipelines to improve overall system performance and scalability, enabling the seamless handling of large-scale datasets and complex computations.

• Collaborate in cross-functional projects: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and researchers, to integrate AI solutions into real-world applications. Contribute to architectural decisions and collaborate on the development of end-to-end solutions that align with business objectives.

• Code review and mentoring: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture within the team.

• Continuous testing and validation: Implement automated testing processes and strategies to validate the functionality and reliability of AI solutions. Contribute to the creation of test cases, conduct thorough testing, and ensure that the developed software meets the required standards of quality and reliability.

• Stay up-to-date on best practices in software development for machine learning applications, as well as relevant new technologies in AI.

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Advanced knowledge of the Python ecosystem.
• Software engineering best practices: Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including version control, code reviews, and software development methodologies. Experience in developing maintainable and well-documented codebases enhances the collaborative development process.
• 3+ years of professional experience. Experience with machine learning frameworks is a plus: Hands-on experience with popular machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn is highly desirable. Proficiency in leveraging these frameworks to develop and deploy machine learning models is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• A strong sense of curiosity, drive, and a willingness to learn.

Base Salary Range: $150,000-$180,000
