Mike Augustyn

Mike Augustyn has extensive work experience in various roles in the software and technology industry. Mike is currently working as a Software Systems Engineer at Accuray, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, Mike worked at Philips from 2006 to 2022. During their tenure at Philips, they held several roles including Lead Product Owner from January 2017 to February 2022, Systems Design Engineer from April 2013 to January 2017, Software Quality Assurance Engineer from September 2010 to April 2013, and Technical Writer from April 2006 to September 2010. Mike also briefly worked as a Technical Writer at Adaptive Micro Systems LLC from January 2006 to March 2006.

Mike Augustyn pursued their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Engineering Management. Prior to this, they attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse from 2000 to 2005, completing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their major was in English with an emphasis on Rhetoric and Writing, along with a minor in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Mike Augustyn has also obtained several certifications. In March 2017, they received the "SAFe Product Owner" certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. In November 2011, they achieved the "Scrum Master" certification from Scrum Alliance. Moreover, in May 2011, they obtained the "ASTQB Foundation Level Software Tester" certification from ASTQB.
