Jeffrey C Day

Jeffrey C Day has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Jeffrey C started their career at Boeing in 1988 as a Software Engineer Level 5, eventually becoming a Software Manager. During their tenure at Boeing, they demonstrated exceptional skills in requirements, design, and development. Jeffrey C also effectively managed a team of software developers and ensured supplier delivery milestones were met.

In 2007, Day transitioned to Bausch + Lomb, where they held multiple concurrent roles as Software Department Manager, Program Manager, and Project Manager. Jeffrey C received recognition for their outstanding contributions to the surgical business, including preventing the disruption of surgical products in Europe.

Day joined bioMerieux in 2014 as a Senior Manager of Embedded Software & Electrical Engineering. Jeffrey C guided cross-functional teams in the feasibility and development phases of product development for In-Vitro Medical Diagnostic Instruments. Jeffrey C made strategic contributions by improving development processes and driving technology improvements into new instruments. Additionally, they initiated collaborative development activities with the global R&D team to streamline the integration of a common RTOS.

Most recently, in 2018, Day became the Director of Product Engineering at Aclara, where they continue to contribute their expertise in product development and engineering.

Jeffrey C Day has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Jeffrey C also received a Certificate of Graduate Study in Systems Engineering and Product Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2017. Additionally, they attended the Center For Applied Information Technology (CAIT) at Washington University in St. Louis, but it is not specified whether they obtained a degree from there.
