Riccardo Barana

Riccardo Barana has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Riccardo is currently working as a Data & Analytics Manager at ActiveProspect since February 2021. Previously, they held the position of Heads of Analytics at LeadsBridge from July 2020 to January 2021 when Activeprospect acquired the company.

Prior to that, Riccardo worked at Kalinax from June 2018 to July 2020. In this role, they led a small team of business analysts and data scientists, delivering analyses and data products for international clients. Riccardo also worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Kalinax from June 2018 to September 2019, where they collaborated closely with business stakeholders to develop complex analyses and analytical models.

Before joining Kalinax, Riccardo was a Product Analyst at ATLAS AZUL LDA from February 2017 to December 2018. Riccardo was responsible for the market expansion of the Direct100 platform, acting as a bridge between the tech team, marketing, and leadership.

Riccardo also has experience as an Account Manager/Analyst at Uniplaces, where they were the main point of contact for Italian and Spanish clients and responsible for internal reporting and process definition from December 2015 to February 2017.

Additionally, they gained engineering experience as an intern at De3, Arquitectura sostenible from September 2014 to February 2015 and as a Research and Development intern at Atlas Copco from November 2010 to April 2011, where they analyzed energy audit systems.

Riccardo Barana's education history includes a Laurea triennale, Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from Università di Pavia, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Riccardo then pursued a Laurea magistrale, M.Sc degree in Energy Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova, completing it from 2012 to 2014. During this period, Riccardo also participated in an Erasmus project at Universidad de Oviedo, focusing on Energy Engineering from 2012 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Riccardo Barana obtained a certification in IELTS - Level 7.0 (Proficiency) from the British Council in December 2016.
