Pete Medved

Pete Medved's work experience includes various roles in sales and account management. Pete is currently employed as a Senior Enterprise Account Director at ActiveState and is responsible for helping enterprises with software built using open-source languages. Prior to this, they worked at OpenText as a Senior Account Executive, where they focused on leveraging data to drive business growth. Before that, Pete worked at SAP as an Account Executive, where they assisted customers in their digital transformation efforts. Pete also has experience in national account management at AM/PM Mobile Solutions and in industrial sales as a Senior Laser Tech at Industrial Laser Cutting. Earlier in their career, Pete worked as a Software Sales Representative at A&B Sound and as a Marketing & Sales Rep / Purchaser at Printers Plus Inc.

Pete Medved completed a certificate program in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2020. Prior to that, they attended Langara College from 1996 to 1998, where they pursued a major in Information Systems Technology and a minor in English. Pete received their high school education at F.J. Brennan Catholic High School from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their formal education, Pete Medved has obtained several certifications, including Security Awareness Training 2022 from Kobalt.io in March 2022, and Executive Presence on Video Conference Calls and The Six Morning Habits of High Performers from LinkedIn in October 2020.
