Si-Yuan Kong

Si-Yuan Kong is a Senior Data Scientist at Activision, focusing on the Mobile Analytics team for Call of Duty: Mobile since June 2021, where expertise in experimentation and causal inference is applied to understand game dynamics. Prior to this role, Si-Yuan worked at MobLab as a Product Manager and Behavioral Economist from July 2018 to May 2021, overseeing the development of the Education Console product while analyzing user-generated data for various strategic questions. Si-Yuan also conducted research as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine from September 2012 to July 2018, collaborating on projects funded by Caltrans and UCCONNECT, and performing statistical analyses for notable professors. Si-Yuan holds a PhD in Economics and dual Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Economics, all earned at UC Irvine.
