David Moss

David Moss has a diverse work experience that encompasses roles in business operations, project management, team leadership, and research. David started their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bristol from 2004 to 2007. David then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at NIMR from 2007 to 2011. From 2013 onwards, David has been associated with Adaptimmune, where they have held various positions. David started as a Senior Development Scientist from 2013 to 2018, followed by a role as a Group Leader from 2018 to 2021. Currently, they serve as a Business Operations Manager, focusing on project management, interdepartmental engagement, vendor and contractor management, and asset program planning/communications. David has also played a significant role in the design and outfit of a new GMP facility and staff onboarding and training. Furthermore, David has experience in enabling process transfer to manufacturing and maintaining ongoing process updates.

David Moss pursued their education in the field of biology and biochemistry. From 1996 to 2000, they attended the University of Dundee, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry. Following this, they enrolled at the University of East Anglia from 2001 to 2004, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology, with a focus on the general field of biology. Furthermore, in July 2021, David received a certification in "Leading without Formal Authority" from LinkedIn.
