Nimmy R. Trietsch, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various industries. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Texas at Dallas. In this role, they gained research experience while working on projects.

From 2014 to 2018, Nimmy held two positions at The University of Texas at Dallas. Firstly, as a Graduate Research Assistant, they conducted research on specialty organic/polymer materials and managed the lab while mentoring undergraduate students. Secondly, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, instructing and proctoring exams, guest lecturing, and providing tutoring and guidance to undergraduate students.

Next, from 2017 to 2021, Nimmy worked at True Velocity, initially as a Polymer Chemist Intern, where they managed multiple projects related to material functions in defense articles and collaborated with vendors to create custom formulations. Later, they became a Senior Research Scientist, responsible for incorporating materials and organic chemistry/polymer knowledge into small arms ammunition products.

In 2020, Nimmy briefly worked as an Adjunct Professor at Rasmussen College, teaching a general chemistry course online and making adjustments to the syllabus based on student feedback.

Currently, Nimmy is employed at Adaptive3D as the Process Development Lead in the Product Development department.

Nimmy R. Trietsch, Ph.D. completed their education at The University of Texas at Dallas. Nimmy R. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from 2010 to 2014. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry from 2014 to 2018.
