Alyssa Sharpe

Alyssa Sharpe has worked in a variety of roles since 2018. In 2021, they are currently working as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Adpearance, where they are responsible for writing Java server code, implementing AWS Cloudsearch, RDS and EC2 instances, using SQL for database queries, writing scripts, and making frontend design changes in Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML and SCSS/CSS. In the same year, they also worked as a Computer Engineer Intern at LeapFrog Design, where they created a web application that allowed the team to monitor data from their sensors and devices in their ecological water treatment system. In 2020, they worked as an IT Support Team Analyst and Networking Lab Manager at Southern Oregon University, where they assisted in installation and troubleshooting of campus network systems, as well as maintained the Linux desktops in the research lab, the internal network and networking equipment, and documented the desktop and network configuration. In 2019, they worked as a Social Media Coordinator at Weisinger Family Winery, a Marketing Coordinator at Ashland Schools Foundation, a Web Developer at Heart Roots Studio, and a Social Media Coordinator and Web Developer at Goldback Wines.

Alyssa Sharpe attended Northgate High School from 2012 to 2016, where they earned their High School Diploma. Alyssa then attended Southern Oregon University from 2016 to 2021, where they earned a degree in Emerging Media & Digital Arts and a degree in Computer Science.
