Cory Zywno

Principal FPGA Engineer at ADTRAN

Cory Zywno has extensive work experience in FPGA engineering at Adtran. Cory started as a Co-op in 2007, where they supported various aspects of embedded system design including test automation, software, and FPGA design. Their work with FPGAs led to an internal paper proposing updates to increase fault coverage in SDRAM testing procedures.

In 2010, Cory became a FPGA Engineer at Adtran, working on developing FPGA firmware for telecommunications products. Cory was involved in every phase of the design cycle, including architecture/feature definition, RTL design, verification, synthesis, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Cory collaborated with different teams to define FPGA requirements, architecture, and features, as well as identifying and providing solutions to problems.

Later on, Cory advanced to the role of Advanced FPGA Engineer, and eventually became a Principal FPGA Engineer at Adtran.

Cory Zywno completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University starting in 2005 and ending in 2009. Cory then pursued further education at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015, completing a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
