Sarah Maki

Sarah Maki has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sarah currently works at AdvaMed as the Director of Education, Inclusion & Diversity Programs. Previously, they held multiple roles at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), including Director of Industry Programs, Senior Manager of Education, Manager of Education, and Coordinator of Event Education. Prior to BIO, Sarah worked as an Operations Coordinator at Alderson Court Reporting. Sarah also has experience as an Administrative Assistant at the Biotechnology Industry Organization and as a Customer Service Representative at Rock Paper Scissors. Before that, they served as a Crew Leader at The Spotted Cow, a Barista at Main Grounds at Randolph College, a PR Assistant and Assistant to the Head of Properties at The Croswell Theater, and a Customer Service Representative at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Baseball Championships. Sarah's early work experience includes serving as a Communications Department Assistant at Randolph College.

Sarah Maki attended Randolph College from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. In 2023, they obtained a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University.
