Fanglin Wang

Fanglin Wang has a strong background in artificial intelligence and machine learning. From 2018 to present, they have served as the Head of Artificial Intelligence at ADVANCE.AI. Prior to this, they worked at NCS Group from 2017 to 2018 as an Associate Director, leading R&D teams in video analytics and machine learning. Before that, from 2014 to 2018, Fanglin was the CTO at KAI Square, where they also served as the head of the R&D team and senior algorithm researcher. Fanglin'swork at KAI Square focused on video content analytics using computer vision and deep learning techniques. Fanglin has also had research roles at the National University of Singapore as a Research Fellow from 2012 to 2014, at Carestream Health as a Researcher from 2011 to 2012, and at Autodesk as a Software Researcher from 2010 to 2011. Fanglin began their career at Sharp Electronics as a Senior Researcher from 2009 to 2010, working on computer vision-based applications. Fanglin also had an internship at Samsung Electronics in Suwon, Korea from 2008 to 2009 as a Software Engineer.

Fanglin Wang completed a Ph.D. in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent System from Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued an M.E. in Control Theory and Control Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2005. Their undergraduate degree, a B.E. in Electrical Engineering, was also obtained from Harbin Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2003.
