Steve Moilanen

Steve Moilanen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Steve is currently the Director at Advanced Energy United since 2023. Previously, they worked at Embark Trucks as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Technology Officer, where they played a key role in scaling the engineering team and overseeing a year-long engineering campaign. Before that, they served as the Chief of Staff and Acting Executive Director at the Center on Global Energy Policy, where they helped double the team size and launch a capital campaign. Steve also has experience as the Co-Founder and Founding CEO of Solstice - Solar for every American, a residential solar start-up. Steve started their career as a Policy Assistant at The White House and later worked as a National Advance Team Member for Obama for America during the 2008 presidential campaign.

Steve Moilanen has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs from Brown University. Steve also holds a Master in Public Affairs degree with a focus on Public Administration from Princeton University.
