Liza Gurtin

Liza Gurtin currently serves as an Investor and Director of Product, Programs & Community at Adverb Ventures since April 2023. Previous experience includes a role as a Member at South Park Commons in 2022 and a position in Product at Future in 2021. Liza was a Partner at Matrix in 2020 and held several positions at Slack from June 2016 to December 2019, including Senior Product Manager for Notifications. Liza's career commenced at Robinhood in 2015, followed by a role as an Oral Communication Tutor and Campus Tour Guide at Stanford University from 2013 to 2015. An APM Intern position at Microsoft took place in the summer of 2014, and prior project leadership experience includes a role at Project Concern International from 2009 to 2012. Liza Gurtin earned a Bachelor of Science in Symbolic Systems with a focus on Human Computer Interaction from Stanford University, completing the degree in 2016.
