Alex Thagard has extensive work experience in various roles related to strategy, sales, marketing, and business development in the aerospace industry. Alex is currently serving as the Senior Vice President at Aero Turbine Inc, where they focus on strategic initiatives and sales and marketing for the company. Prior to this, they worked as the Director at Chromalloy from 2017 to 2020. From 2012 to 2016, they held the position of Senior Director, Business Development at Field Aerospace, leading a team responsible for pursuing opportunities in military, paramilitary, and governmental organizations. Alex also has experience in international sales and marketing as the Director at Segers Aero Corporation. Prior to that, in 2004 and 2005, Alex received a certificate in Spanish Language from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. In 1996 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) at Troy University. Alex also holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree in Geography and Urban Planning, which they obtained from Texas State University between 1986 and 1988. Lastly, in 1981 to 1983, they completed an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Engineering Drafting at Central Ohio Technical College. In addition to their academic achievements, Alex obtained a certification as a Linguist from the Defense Language Institute in July 2005.
