Dingkang Wang

Dingkang Wang is a seasoned professional in the fields of electrical and electronics engineering, with significant experience in machine learning, object detection, and advanced sensor systems. Currently serving as a Gen AI developer at CatchOn since October 2023, Dingkang conducts research on diffusion models for virtual garment try-on applications. At Aeva, Dingkang has been a Perception Validation Engineer, focusing on automated metrics validation for object detection and tracking using Doppler LiDAR point cloud data. Previous roles include Research Assistant at the University of Florida, where Dingkang specialized in MEMS technology and LiDAR systems, and an internship at TuSimple, where contributions were made to 3D LiDAR benchmarking for autonomous vehicles. Dingkang holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jilin University.
