Chris Lavoie

Chris Lavoie, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Chris is currently the Head of Global Partnerships at AfterShip, a role they took on in 2023. Prior to that, they founded Ecosystem University in 2021, a platform aimed at helping professionals excel in partnership roles.

In 2023, Chris served as the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Arrive, where they facilitated circular commerce integration for innovative companies. Before that, they held multiple positions at Gorgias, starting as a Technology Partner Manager in 2020 and eventually becoming the Head of Tech Partnerships.

Chris also has experience in the cannabis industry. Chris was the Director of Retail Operations at The House of Cannabis from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they worked at CannDelta Inc. as the Director of Business Development and an Associate Consultant.

Earlier in their career, Chris worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Caltech and as a PhD Research Student at Dalhousie University. Chris also served as a Research Scientist at Saint Mary's University.

Chris Lavoie, PhD, obtained a Bachelor's of Science (Honours) degree in Organic Chemistry from Saint Mary's University in the years 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry at Dalhousie University from 2014 to 2018.
