Carlos Soto Iguaran

Carlos Soto Iguaran is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social protection and labor market policies, currently serving as a Task Team Leader at Agence Française de Développement since September 2018. Prior roles include being a Docente - Investigador at Universidad Externado de Colombia, where research focused on welfare regimes in developing countries, and providing consultancy services for organizations such as the World Bank Group, UNICEF, UNDP, and others, involving assessments of social programs and labor market interventions. Carlos holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, alongside a Master’s degree in Economics with a focus on Social Policy and Human Resources, and a Diplôme de l'IEP de Paris from Sciences Po.
