Tamara Pitts has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Tamara is currently working at AGS Company Automotive Solutions, where they started as the Office Manager in November 2018. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing serious disciplinary actions and managing unemployment claims. Tamara then transitioned to become the People and Culture Manager in September 2019, where they focused on developing people-centered activities and providing strategic leadership.

In December 2020, Tamara was promoted to the position of Director of People & Culture. In this role, they provided leadership in selecting and retaining people, managing performance, and enhancing the work environment. Tamara also oversaw various HR functions and policies, such as recruitment, training, and compensation analysis.

Finally, in November 2022, Tamara was promoted to Vice President of People & Culture at AGS Company Automotive Solutions. Tamara continued to lead the People & Culture team and develop activities in areas such as talent management, change management, and performance management.

Before working at AGS Company Automotive Solutions, Tamara gained experience in education. Tamara worked as a Paraprofessional at North Muskegon Public Schools from 2017 to 2018 and again from 2016 to 2017. Tamara also worked as a Classroom Assistant at White Lake Area Community Education from 2016 to 2017.

Tamara Pitts obtained an Associate's Degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Davenport University, where they studied from 1994 to 1996. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In July 2019, they received a certification in OSHA Compliance from Pryor Learning Solutions | Fred Pryor Seminars | CareerTrack. In the same month, they also received a certification in FMLA Compliance from the same institution. In May 2019, they obtained a certification in Human Resources for Anyone with Newly Assigned HR Responsibilities from Pryor Learning Solutions | Fred Pryor Seminars | CareerTrack. Most recently, in July 2022, they obtained a certification in Human Resources: Building a Performance Management System from LinkedIn.
