Marcel Holtmaat has a comprehensive work experience in the retail industry. Marcel began their career in 1981 as a Weekend Medewerker at De Boer Supermarkten. Throughout the years, they held various roles at Albert Heijn, starting as a Medewerker Service Bureau and eventually becoming a Senior Medewerker Logistic Control and Teamleider afdeling Retouren. Holtmaat also worked as a Projectleider Logistic Control and Distributie Manager Verscentrale at Albert Heijn. Marcel then joined Ahold Nederland where they served as Vice President Albert Heijn Logistics and Vice President Store Operations Region South-East. Later, they moved to Albert Heijn as the VP Online Operations, overseeing the supply chain of ah.nl. In 2020, they took on the role of VP Operations Aquisition Deen at Albert Heijn. Currently, they are the Lead eCommerce of Ahold Delhaize Europe.
