Evyatar Hemo

Evyatar Hemo has a comprehensive work experience in leading and managing teams in the fields of artificial intelligence, engineering, and defense. Evyatar currently holds the position of Director of AI Algorithms Engineering at Aidoc, where they lead a team of AI and software engineers in developing medical-focused AI algorithms. Prior to this, Evyatar worked at Qualcomm as the Director of Engineering, overseeing multiple groups and responsibilities related to the design and validation of 5G/Wifi chips. Evyatar also served as an Algorithms Group Manager and Program Engineer, leading chip development projects in the fields of radar and 5G.

Earlier in their career, Evyatar worked at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, where they held various roles including Director of Algorithms and Innovation R&D Section, Signal Processing & Algorithms Team Leader, Technical Lead, and Algorithms Engineer. Evyatar was responsible for leading R&D activities, prototype development, system engineering, and team management in the areas of signal processing, communication algorithms, and machine learning. Evyatar also worked as an EE engineer and project manager in the Israel Defense Forces.

Evyatar Hemo completed a BA in Physics and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2003. Evyatar then pursued an MSc in Electrical Engineering from 2004 to 2010, followed by a Ph.D. in Coding and Information, which they obtained from 2013 to 2017, both also from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
