Lifu Zhang

Lifu (Alex) Zhang, CFA ASA MSc, is a seasoned professional in risk analysis and actuarial science, currently serving as a Senior Risk Analyst for the Total Fund at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since August 2021. Prior roles at AIMCo include Investment Risk Analyst and Risk Analyst for Public Equities. Previously, Lifu worked as an Actuarial Analyst at Swiss Re and completed an internship focused on IFRS17. Academic credentials include a Master of Mathematics in Statistics obtained from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Actuarial Science and a Minor in Statistics from the University of Calgary, complemented by experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and a Healthcare Research Data Analyst.
