Derek N. Spencer (He/Him)

Derek N. Spencer has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2010 when he co-founded and served as CEO of SparQ Innovation. In 2012, he became a National Accounts Manager at Shamrock Medical Solutions Group. From 2013 to 2014, he were a Sr. Funding Consultant & Analyst at Fundable, where he were responsible for evaluating investment opportunities and placing the companies with the highest probability of closing a round of funding in front of his network of investors. During this time, $568M in funding was committed on Fundable. From 2014 to 2016, Derek worked as Director of Client Relations at Ellsworth Private Wealth Management, a boutique wealth management practice specializing in managing the assets of business owners, corporate executives and corporate retirement plans. During this time, the firm had over $1B in AUM. From 2016 to 2017, Derek was a Private Banker at KeyBank, where he led a team of specialists that managed the wealth of high net worth and ultra high net worth families. Key Private Bank had over $45B in AUM and $52B in AUA. Finally, in 2017, Derek founded and served as CEO of AiR Everywhere, an Augmented Reality stealth start-up.

Derek N. Spencer obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and American Politics from Kent State University from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, he attended the University of Cincinnati from 2007 to 2008, studying Political Science. Derek N. also attended Solon High School from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, he have obtained certifications from Cannon Financial Institute (Certified Wealth Strategist, 2017), the Ohio Department of Insurance (Health & Life Insurance/Annuities), and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) (Series 66 and Series 7).
