Sandor Woldendorp has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Sandor started their career in 1995 as an International Intern at Beechcraft - Raytheon Aircraft Company in the USA. From there, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Raytheon Engineers & Constructors in 1997.
In 1998, Sandor joined the National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR) as an Aerodynamics Researcher, where they contributed to various research projects. Sandor then moved to Silver AeroSpace in 2001, where they worked as a Stress Engineer until 2004.
Sandor's career took a significant turn in 2003 when they joined Airbus - Aircabin as a Stress Engineer. This experience provided him with valuable insights and expertise in the aerospace industry. In 2004, they became a Stress Engineer at Airborne, a leading manufacturer of composite parts for aircraft, satellites, and launchers.
At Airborne, Sandor held multiple roles, including Project Manager, Business Manager for Space, Business Development Manager for Space - Affordable Composites for (New)Space, and finally, as the Business Unit Director Aerospace. In these roles, they were responsible for various aspects such as strategy, growth, and performance of the business unit. Sandor played a key role in the manufacturing of composite panels for Galileo and Sentinel satellites, as well as the development of new technology for Ariane 5 and 6 launcher structures.
Overall, Sandor Woldendorp has displayed a strong track record in the aerospace industry, continually evolving and taking on new challenges throughout their career.
Sandor Woldendorp began their education journey in 1984 at Pallas College in Zoetermeer, where they completed their VWO degree in an unspecified field of study. After finishing their secondary education, Sandor attended Delft University of Technology from 1990 to 1997. During this time, they obtained their MSc degree in Aerodynamics.
