Despina Christodoulou has over 10 years of work experience. Despina began their career in 2006 as a Sales Assistant at Notos Com. Holdings S.A., where they prepared merchandise for selling floors, maintained merchandising stock and displays, operated a computer/cash register and handled monetary transactions, and provided guests information and advice about selecting merchandise. In 2011, they worked as an HR Administrative & Recruitment Support at Seapaint-yachting. In 2012, they worked as an HR Intern International Mobility Central, Eastern & North Europe at Danone. In 2013, they worked at Philips as an HR graduate, where they were responsible for the analysis of health inputs and development of preventative and corrective plans, the development and implementation of a new mobility parking policy aiming at a transparent and sustainable system, and the design of the induction day for Philips International new joiners. In the same year, they also worked at Booking.com as an HR Business Partner (Technology & Product), Senior HR Specialist & Interim TL, HR Specialist - HQ, and Tech Coordinator. In 2021, they worked as a Senior People Business Partner & Lead - Tech & Product at FREE NOW. Currently, they are a Senior People Partner - Lead - Engineering & Product at Aiven.

Despina Christodoulou completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Human Resources Management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Marketing and Advertising with a focus in Economics and Management from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, Greece from 2006 to 2011.
