DuBose Griffin

DuBose Griffin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. DuBose is currently working at Aiwyn as a Product Management and Operations professional since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal Managing Partner at DBM Advisors, LLC since July 2021.

DuBose also has a background in program management, having worked at Civis Bank (now Thread Bank) from November 2021 to August 2022. DuBose also has experience in operations, having worked at GoodUnited from November 2021 to May 2022, and at Natural Commerce as the Vice President of Operations from November 2020 to October 2021.

In terms of technical operations, DuBose worked at Ceterus in various capacities. DuBose was the Director of Technical Operations from October 2019 to November 2020, Senior Manager of Technical Operations from July 2018 to September 2019, and Technical Support Lead from July 2017 to July 2018.

DuBose has also held positions in product support and web development. DuBose worked as a Product Support Analyst at Jungle Lasers, LLC from August 2016 to June 2017, where they implemented process improvements and introduced KPIs for client support. Prior to that, they worked as a Web Site Developer in freelance web design from January 2003 to December 2012.

Before transitioning into technology roles, DuBose worked in the conservation field. DuBose was the SC Sea Turtle Program Director at the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources from July 2006 to April 2013, and a Biologist from May 2001 to June 2006.

Throughout their career, DuBose has showcased their skills in operations, program management, technical support, and web development, while also demonstrating their ability to implement process improvements and measure performance through the use of KPIs.

DuBose Griffin's education history begins in 1993 when they enrolled at Appalachian State University to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biological Sciences. DuBose completed their undergraduate degree in 1998. In 2000, Griffin furthered their education by attending the College of Charleston, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Policy in 2002.

Aside from their formal education, Griffin has also obtained various certifications throughout the years. In 2001, they completed the SCDNR Boating Safety Class offered by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources. In 2004, they attended the ESRI Introduction to ArcGIS I course provided by the NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration. The following year, in 2005, they obtained certifications in HTML Boot Camp from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers and Coastal Applications Using ArcGIS from NOAA. DuBose also achieved the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification during the same year. In 2007, Griffin became certified as a Scientific Diver by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and received DAN’s Emergency Oxygen Training from the Divers Alert Network. In 2008, they completed the MS Access Level 1 course offered by Productivity, Solutions and Training and the SCDNR AAA Defensive Driver Course provided by AAA. DuBose'scertifications continued in 2010 with training in U.S. Coastguard HAZMAT from the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and Strategic Communications and Media Training from the Steve Alexander Group. Griffin obtained the American Red Cross Adult CPR and First Aid certification in 2011. Finally, in 2013, they completed the Javascript: Boot Camp course at Charleston CODECamp and obtained the QuickBooks Online certification from Intuit in 2017.
