Cihan Yilmaz

Cihan Yilmaz has worked as a Planning Engineer at AIXTRON SE since September 2020. In this role, they are responsible for drawing and modifying plans using specialized design software packages. Cihan also gathers information from Twincat 3 for IP addresses.

From 2018 to 2020, Cihan was a Co-Founder at Monovoid Design. Here, they contributed to various aspects of the digital world, including logo design, social media content production, and advertisement creation. Cihan utilized tools such as Adobe (Ps - Ai - Pr), Wordpress (WooCommerce + SEO), and Office 365.

In 2019, Cihan worked as an Automation Engineer at Alp Mühendislik. Here, they programmed the S7-1200 series using TIA Portal V14 and created PLC projects primarily with LD and FBD languages.

Cihan also gained experience as a Bachelor Thesis student at Manisa Celal Bayar Üniversitesi from 2018 to 2019. Cihan'sproject involved building a line follower robot for a greenhouse area that could identify strawberries and cherries using image processing.

Additionally, Cihan worked briefly as an Extrusion Engineer at Standard Profil Group in 2019. In this role, they managed extrusion waste and tested MAF sensors for water production from the cooling system.

Prior to that, Cihan worked as a Project Engineer at Ingeniarius, Lda in 2018, where they built and programmed Arduino for motor motion and sensors. Cihan also designed the Line Follower Robot using Onshape assembly materials.

In 2017, Cihan was a Research Development Project Engineer at Alp Mühendislik, where they developed drones and multi-copters and conducted market research for motors and batteries for an AGV project.

Furthermore, Cihan gained experience as a Technical Support Staff at Özgörkey Otomotiv in 2017, where they analyzed control units and identified hardware or software errors.

In 2016, Cihan worked as a Quality Controller at Özgür Elektrik Elektronik Plastik San. Tic. A.Ş. Here, they conducted tension tests and performed label and QR-code control and comparison with Excel data.

Cihan Yilmaz received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manisa Celal Bayar University, where they studied from 2014 to 2019. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including the Learn JavaScript, Learn CSS, and Learn HTML Courses from Codecademy in 2023, the EPLAN Electric P8 Grundlagentraining 2. Teil and EPLAN Electric P8 Grundlagentraining 1. Teil from EPLAN in 2021, the ePlan Electric P8 Heavyweight Vol.1/2 - The Crash Course from Udemy Academy in 2020, and the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute Certificate from NVIDIA in 2017. Cihan also completed the Akıllı Röle ve Mikro Seviye PLC Eğitimi and Elektrik Kumanda ve Otomasyon Teknikleri Geliştirme ve Uyum Eğitimi from Elginkan Holding in 2017, and received a Certificate of Attendance from Kariyer.net in 2016. Prior to these, they obtained a certificate in Peacemaking from Dokuz Eylül University in 2012 and an Urkunde diploma from ADAC in 2005.
