Courtney Utsey

Courtney Utsey has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Their most recent role was as a Director of People Experience at Akari Therapeutics Plc. Prior to that, they held various positions at Enzyvant, including Head of People & Workplace Experience, Senior Manager HR Operations, Talent and Culture, and Senior HR Operations Specialist. In these roles, Courtney was responsible for overseeing HR operations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, and employee relations. Courtney also played a crucial role in decentralizing the HR function from a shared services model. Before joining Enzyvant, Courtney worked as a People + Culture Coordinator at MedTouch, where they developed and implemented practices to foster a positive work culture. Courtney also gained experience in talent acquisition and HR processes during their time as a People + Culture/Talent Acquisition Co-op at MedTouch.

Courtney Utsey, PHR holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from Northeastern University. Additionally, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI in April 2020.
