Channing Wong has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career as a Software Developer at Southern California Earthquake Center (SCEC) in 2003. In 2004, they joined The Boeing Company as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they played a vital role in creating automated tools and processes and developing applications for the U.S. Army. Channing then moved to Accenture in 2011, where they held the position of Software Engineering Manager until 2018. At Accenture, they gained extensive managerial experience. Since 2018, Channing has been working at Akili as a Software Engineering Manager, Senior Software Engineering Manager, and currently as the Director of Software Engineering. Akili is focused on developing a new type of Electronic Medicine™ for children with ADHD.
Channing Wong obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science Networks and Graphics from the University of Southern California from 2003 to 2005. Channing also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science from the same university. Prior to their university education, Channing attended South Island School. Additionally, Channing has obtained the certification of Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2018.
