José Alas-Ruiz

José Alas-Ruiz, MBA has a strong background in supply chain management and operations. José has held various leadership roles in the life sciences industry, including Director of Supply Chain at Akoya Biosciences, where they are responsible for designing and implementing a global supply chain strategy. Prior to that, they served as Senior Director of Supply Chain & Purchasing at entrinsic bioscience and Director of Supply Chain & Purchasing at Ultivue. José also has experience in logistics and customer support, having worked as Associate Director at Cell Signaling Technology (CST). José has demonstrated success in managing teams, implementing ERP systems, and driving supply chain alignment with business objectives. Additionally, José has prior experience in program operations and implementations management from their time at the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development. Earlier in their career, they served in various leadership roles in the U.S. Army, where they gained experience in planning and operations. José holds an MBA and started their career as a Senior Fund Accountant at State Street.

José Alas-Ruiz, MBA obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Salem State University in 2009. In 2010, they received a Diploma in Ordnance & Logistics from the Army Logistics University. José later pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School in the years 2013 to 2015.
